The Music Ministry of First Baptist Church of Wiggins exists to lead others to offer an excellent and obedient sacrifice of praise with their lives by discovering the gifts and talents among our brothers and sisters, encouraging them to use those talents in service and obedience. We hope that you will consider joining us in praise our Savior with all that we are.

Praise Band
The Praise Band of FBC leads worship every Sunday in various ways that include high energy settings as well as traditional.
M&M’s
Music and Missions After-School Ministry
M&M’s meets once a week to give school age children (K-5) an opportunity to learn about music and missions in a fun relaxed environment.
Sanctuary Choir
The Sanctuary Choir has been the standard and example of excellent worship leadership for over 100 years. The Choir leads worship every Sunday and combines with all of the other worship groups to aid in worship leadership.
N. J. Lee Bells of Praise
Handbells Choir
For thirty years the N. J. Lee Bells of Praise have led the congregation in praise. The handbell choir is a competition level group that loves to get together, ring bells and laugh.
Missions
Cuba
The FBC Music Ministry is partnered with the Eastern Baptist Convention of Cuba to help train and support the musicians and churches there. We usually lead an annual trip to the the island nation of Cuba.
Community Involvement
The Musicians of FBC Music Ministry participate in the community in a number of ways. Whether its leading others in worship at the park, Solid Rock Youth Center, Wiggins Community Choir or volunteering at the Daily Bread Food Pantry, we are involved in ministering to and influencing the community around us.
Orchestra
The newest group to join our worship team is the FBC Orchestra. The Orchestra is comprised of instrumentalists of all ages who seek to bring an offering of praise through music. This exciting ministry is a welcomed addition to our family. The Orchestra play in nearly every style and in various services.
Steadfast Hearts
Ladies Ensemble
This all female vocal ensemble leads worship in various ways, times and styles throughout every season.
One on One Discipleship
All participants in the Music Ministry are encouraged to participate in a One on One discipleship group. These groups of two or three people meet once a week for 30 to 45 minutes to pray together, study the bible together and to hold each other accountable.
